There is one true, holy God, who created and rules the universe. He has externally revealed Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless, human life and voluntarily gave his life on a cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. His body resurrected after three days and he ascended to heaven. He now reigns in glory until all things are put under His feet.
The Bible is the absolute inspiration of God, given through the Holy Spirit without error. We believe that the church has no authority to establish doctrine or practice contrary to these Scriptures, which were subsequently accepted as canon by the early Christian Church.
Man was created good and upright in the image of God. By voluntary transgressions, man fell into sin, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
The central purpose of God’s revelation in Scripture is to call people into fellowship with Him. The salvation of humanity is completely a work of God’s free grace. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, God provided salvation for the spirit, healing for the soul and body, and forgiveness of sins. We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We were justified when we believed, we are sanctified as we believe and will be glorified because we believed.
The identity of the Body of Christ on earth is primarily perceived through the local churches, and recognizing the need of consensus on matters of fundamental doctrine and conduct, we strongly confess the local church to be sovereign and autonomous. The purpose of this local church is to carry out the mission and perform the ministry of Jesus on earth by declaring the His Kingdom has come, evangelizing the lost, and making disciples. By God’s grace, we intend to proclaim the Kingdom of God and impact our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by every means possible.
